Lady Gaga Surprises School Students As A Substitute Teacher For A Good Cause

Popular American singer-songwriter, Lady Gaga might just be considering switching to education as a new career path. Or maybe not. But one thing she is sure doing is supporting public education. Lady Gaga changed kids’ lives when she surprised them as their substitute teacher for a day. In a new PSA in support of public education, the superstar shows up to a school in Hollywood to talk to kids about their futures. The commercial is part of the singer’s new partnership with Staples in raising money for schools across the America. The supply store pledged to donate $2 million to the Born This Way Foundation and DonorsChoose.org, which helps educators afford the supplies they need. As the sponsor for Gaga’s Joanne Tour, Staples will also give a lucky winner a $50,000 scholarship and a free trip to see Mother Monster in concert in Las Vegas. “I want kids to love themselves fearlessly,” the “Bad Romance” singer said in the commercial, which was completely unscripted, according to Adweek. Instead of reciting lines, Gaga connected with the students and encouraged them to embrace their dreams.
