British/Turkish Cypriot fashion designer Hussein Chalayan presented his resort 2018 collection. Inspired by the idea of romance and effortlessness, the collection features a lots of layering and light materials.
Chalayan worked silks, jacquards and light cottons into the collection, for draped tops some gathered with ruching or drawstring details and an asymmetric dress that tied low on the hip.
Draping and wrapping was a big theme, with the same long dark gray dress worn loose and robe-like one moment, and then voilà could be fitted into a V-neck with a cinched waist in a matter of seconds.
