Canadian rapper, singer and songwriter Aubrey Drake Graham, known by many as Drake have as promised, dropped a new music. Premiered at Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week show today June 22,17, the hip-hop star debuted the new sounds “Signs” that delivers a very mellow and familiar Drake crooning over a mid-tempo beat from his go-to producer Noah “40” Shebib.
The first track from Drake since his More Life “playlist” project, “Signs” features an ambient intro and rides a Caribbean riddim akin to “Passionfruit” but with a more somber vibe. Drizzy brings his patented swooning to the track on lines like “and I’m taking my time, just wait on me and I can’t say no when you say please.” “Signs” runs for well over six minutes in the runway clip, though there’s a strong chance that the beat was looped for the purposes of the fashion show.
