Bill Cosby Is Set To Educate Youths On Sexual Assault

Bill Cosby, who’s sexual assault case involving Andrea Constand, a former Temple State University employee, recently ended in a mistrial, and has ‘announced’ he will be teaching youth on how to avoid sexual assault. According to report, the news was made known through his spokesman, Andrew Wyatt. In an interview with a news station in Alabama, Wyatt said the 79-year-old actor plans to host a series of “town hall” style meetings with youth. One of the meetings will reportedly take place “sometime in July” in Birmingham.“We’re going to talk to young people because this is bigger than Bill Cosby,” Wyatt told Good Day Alabama. “This issue can affect any young person, especially young athletes of today, and they need to know what they’re facing when they’re hanging out and partying, when they’re doing certain things that they shouldn’t be doing.” On Wednesday, Cosby took to Twitter to thank the media outlet for allowing Wyatt to come on the program: Ebonee Benson is a spokeswoman for Camille Cosby. She said that it’s important that young people are informed. “The laws are changing, the statute of limitations for victims of sexual assault are being extended, so this is why people need to be educated on a brush against the shoulder,” she said. “Because anything at this point can be considered sexual assault and it is a good thing to be educated about the laws”.Photo Credit: Getty
