By KOKO TV

You have finally convinced her to come over but now you are panicking because you just can’t think of that extra special touch that will make the home-date more memorable. Your pasta skills are manageable at best. You’ve checked the DSTV guide and there is no romantic movie showing that will put her in the mood. But, how about delighting her taste buds with cocktails whose names are as exotic as they taste? And we don’t mean hiring your special bartender for the night. It will do no harm to your gameplay for the night to impress her with your bartending skills. Less so as girls are always attracted to fine looking bartenders. So what drinks can you sweep her tongue off her palette with using readily available ingredients in a Nigerian fridge?

For the intoxicatingly delicious taste of the rightly named Sex On The Beach, simply fill a glass cup with cubes and add schnapps, Smirnoff Vodka, orange juice and cranberry juice. Make sure that the amount of vodka, and juice you add is at each least four times more than the amount for schnapps to get that perfect taste. Or at least something close to it. For Super Simple Summer Punch, stir slices of orange and raspberry in a glass of vodka and ice-cubes with a wooden ladle. Then add mango juice and cranberry juice that are each four times the amount of vodka used. Finally add soda water, the same amount with the vodka and keep stirring till the mixture is fully blended.

To create Rum And Cola, pour any rum of your choice into a glass cup full of ice-cubes and add twice as much Coca Cola. To garnish it and make it look classy, you can add a wedge of lime. But if you want to be extra classy for that extra classy lady, I will recommend making the Red Hot Summer. Add lemon-lime soda and thrice as much red wine in a glass cup filled with ice. Then you garnish with a lime wheel and Viola!, cocktail is served.
